FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, more specifically ophthalmosurgery and is applicable for one-stage surgical management of cataract and retinal detachment with silicone oil tamponade on a vitreal cavity. It involves creating 3 scleral ports with their lumen being closed that is followed by phacoemulsification and filling of an anterior chamber and a capsular bag with a viscoelastic. A vitrectomy is performed through the created ports with using the instruments; PFOCs are used to pack the vitreal cavity, and retinal endolaser coagulation is performed. The instruments, except for the cannula, are removed from the vitreal cavity with performing irrigation, and an IOL is implanted through a corneal cut into the capsular bag, and the viscoelastic is washed out. A vitreous cutter brought through the scleral port into the vitreal cavity is used to excise a central zone of a back lens capsule with the PFOCs replaced by silicone oil.
EFFECT: method provides elimination the potential posterior capsular opacification and delayed discussion if required, and also the potential capsular block; ensures the visual control of the postoperative retina condition.
