FIELD: fire-fighting means.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a flame-retarded covering in the form of a curtain. Fire protection covering in the form of a curtain (3) includes at least two layers (7, 8) of a material, which are interconnected to form an interior space. The interior space is partly filled with a material (13) expanding when heated. The material (13) expanding when heated is enclosed in the loops (18), at least part of which is adapted to release under the influence of heat. Part of the loops (18), which is released under the influence of heat, is at least partially positioned in such a way that a general loop (26) is formed.

EFFECT: covering is flexible, lightweight and compact, as well as due to obtained expansion of the material expanding during heating it has very high insulating properties.
