SUBSTANCE: fireproof tape (24) for laying in through openings (12) in walls or floors (10) of buildings contains at least two main layers (26a, 26b) of intumescent material and at least one intermediate layer (30a) located between adjacent main layers (26a, 26b) of the second intumescent material, the second intumescent material is characterized by a lower intumescence temperature than the material of main layers (26a, 26b), and with main layers (26a, 26b) on the outside having in each case first longitudinal edge (32a, 32b), and on the opposite outside – in each case, second longitudinal edge (34a, 34b).
EFFECT: fireproof tape is proposed.
