FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: mandrel comprises nose and working profiling par with cavity and outlet channels. Ruling out of blocking effect of coolant reflected flow, exploiting ''injection effect'' intensifying cooling process by formation of rarefaction zone to be filled by coolant is ensured by arranging outlet channel axes in cross-section at acute angle to mandrel surface. Note here that mouths of channels are directed in direction opposite that of mandrel rotation. Proposed method comprises coolant feed at excess pressure into revolving mandrel cavity and, via mandrel outlet channels, into deformation zone. Coolant flow is fed at angle to mandrel outer surface in deformation zone cross-section in direction opposite that of mandrel rotation.
EFFECT: higher wear resistance, expanded operating performances.
