FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machining, particularly, to lathe carriages. Carriage plain slide ways have cells arranged in symmetry and regularly on cell slide surfaces. Cells are intercommunicated via channels feeding lubrication into zone of friction with foundation. Cell surface area equals that of microrelief hole surface area retaining lubrication. Said holes may be formed on bed guides by shotpeening. Cells are positioned along common lengthwise axes and opposite microrelief holes. Cells are communicated via channels made in carriage to feed lubrication in zone of contact between guides to interact with microrelief holes on appropriate bed guides.
EFFECT: higher precision and efficiency.
