FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in defining contact angle of drop placed on briquette of compacted powder. Note here that powder is compacted at, at least, 400 MPa in cylindrical female die with height not exceeding 0.1 Dk and diameter not exceeding 2Dk, where Dk is drop diameter. Analysed fluid drop is applied onto briquette in female die at the rate of 1 cm/s. Contact angle by image acquisition (0.2-6) s after applying drop onto briquette. Note here that powder with mean particle size not exceed 100 mcm is used.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of determination, perfected procedure.
