FIELD: powder metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates in particular to methods for producing copper-based powder composite materials with reduced electrical resistance, and can be used in the electrical industry. The method is implemented as follows: graphite powder is treated in an aqueous solution of copper with the addition of a non-ionic surfactant with a concentration close to the critical concentration of micelle formation. Graphite and copper powders are mixed in ethyl alcohol using a “УЗВСТ-400С” installation (t=20 min) and dried at room temperature. The resulting mixture is pressed and the compact is annealed in hydrogen. Then the sample is pressed and sintered again in vacuum (T=1060-1080°C, t=2 h).

EFFECT: reducing the electrical resistivity of the material by improving the wettability of the graphite surface with copper.
