METHOD OF DIAGNOSTICS AND DETERMINATION OF LENGTH OF POST-CONTUSION CYCLODYALYSIS Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61F9/00 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology and is intended for diagnostics and determination of length of post-contusion cyclodialysis. Ultrasonic biomicroscopy and optic tomography of anterior eye segment are performed. In case of visualisation of slit-like communication between anterior chamber and suprachoroidal space in area of anterior chamber angle, or in case of combination of small inhomogeneous anterior chamber, exposure of scleral spur as projection of triangular shape from internal surface of sclera in place of transition of cornea into sclera in not less than one quadrant of eyeball with displacement of ciliary body to posterior eye segment, ciliochoroidal detachment, cyclodialysis is diagnosed, its length being determined by boundaries of anatomical intactness of anterior chamber angle on three adjacent scans or two adjacent echograms.

EFFECT: method ensures increase of diagnostics quality in patients with suspicion on post-trauma cyclodialysis, that is in case of hypotonic syndrome, and reliable determination of cyclodialysis length for further selection of adequate treatment tactics.
