FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to preparing refractory materials for production of ceramic moulds. Said moulds are used for shaped casting from high alloys. Proposed method comprises processing billets by hydrochloric acid solution, separating processed refractory material from liquid phase, drying and annealing. Thereafter, sulphite-yeast brew is added to aforesaid solution, its density making 1.05…1.08 g/cm3, in amount of 2.0-3.0 vol. % to carry out annealing at 700-900°C and residual pressure of 133-13.3 Pa.
EFFECT: higher quality of ceramic moulds.
