SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mould and method of moulding. Mould for moulding composite-outline tread comprises first and second elements. The latter may reverse relative to each other from first closed position whereat said elements confine mould cavity into second open position whereat they are displaced relative to each other. First element comprises mould cavity to retain polymer material, inner walls and elements to make slotted drain channels. Said first element features shaped bottom surface of mould cavity while second element features shaped moulding surface.

EFFECT: tread with preset-size elements.
