FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to device for moulding or recovery of tire tread and to method of replacing groove plates. Proposed device has processing element with top surface in contact with tire tread and bottom surface. Note here that both said surfaces make first opening. Plate holder to be arranged in said first opening has top surface to get in contact with tire tread and case to make preset shape slot. Note here that plate holder has thrust ledge with top surface in contact with aforesaid processing element, and bottom surface. Groove plate has first part to form groove in tire tread and second part to clamp plate in said device, and thrust ledge with top and bottom surfaces. Note here that said first part features shape complements plate holder slot to allow accommodating groove plate in plate holder.
EFFECT: simplified replacement of groove plates and assembly of plate holder.
