FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, particularly, to high-speed ship steps. Ship hull comprises bottom skin with transverse step. Said step is equipped with shock-absorbing elements made up of, at least, one metal plate arranged between ship and step skins, in step cavity. Step skin, shock-absorbing elements and ship skin are jointed together by lengthwise beams of T- or bulb tee section. Note here that beams arranged atop and at bottom of shock-absorbing elements are displaced in crosswise direction relative to each other. Note also that step is provided with bow water intake valves and stern water discharge nozzles.

EFFECT: decreased loads and water resistance.
