FIELD: compressors; stall and surge protection systems for turbocompressors. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method of diagnosing, result of comparing of rms deviation of measured value of parameter from its mean value at definite time interval with threshold value at definite time interval with threshold value is used as criterium of surge diagnosing. Surge diagnosing system of turbocompressor has pressure differential pickup 1 in contracting device 2 installed in blading of compressor 3. Its output is connected with input of squarer 7 and LPF 4, is connected with input of squarer 6 and second input of divider 10. Output of squarer 7 is connected with input of LPF 5, and outputs 5 and squarer 6 are connected with direct and inverting inputs of adder 8, respectively. Output of adder 8 is connected with of evolution element 9 whose output is connected with first input of divider 10 whose output, in its turn, is connected with input of threshold element 11. Meter of any parameter characterizing dynamics of compression process, such as pressure differential pickup of flow rate meter, pressure pickup, speed pickup, drive electric motor current sensor or rotor axial shift pickup can be used as pickup 1. EFFECT: improved quality of surge diagnosing in compressor plants owing to reduction of signal processing time required for revealing of surging, reduced cost of introduction of diagnosing system owing to simplicity of its practical realization. 2 cl, 2 dwg
