FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: coupling casing is made in the form of metal housing of cylindrical shape with bottoms; flanges to be attached to mating flanges of adjacent devices are provided in central part of the above bottoms. Housing has diametrical connector in horizontal plane, which divides it into two half-housings - upper and lower, which are connected by means of fasteners through sealing gaskets. Each bottom of housing is made in the form of annular corrugated cuff from elastic material. Edges of cuffs facing each other are fixed on external surface of the corresponding extreme ends of cylindrical part of housing; free edges are meant to be attached to mating flanges of adjacent devices by means of reducers in the form of metal flanges each of which is pressed to internal surface of edge of the appropriate cuff. Intermediate part of each cuff between edges is made in the form of concentric corrugations.

EFFECT: simpler design of casing, higher operating reliability, possibility of using the casing in installations with various overall dimensions, and provision of free access during erection and removal.
