SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in making integration indicators (class 5) changing colour by the integrated exposure of saturated steam of certain temperature and certain dryness for a preset period of time. The method for producing a saturated steam sterilisation indicator involves coating a substrate with an indicator compound. The substrate is presented by an orange luminescent self-adhesive paper impregnated with the indicator compound. The indicator compound contains alcoholic solutions of iodine and oxalate-tetraethyldiamine-triohenylmethane (brilliant green) prepared of the same concentration of 2 to 5 g of dry substance per 100 ml of ethanol. At first, the substrate is impregnated with the alcoholic solution of iodine to brown it, and dried. Then the dried substrate is impregnated with the alcoholic solution of oxalate-tetraethyldiamine-triohenylmethane to make it mossy green. Thereafter, the substrate is finally dried.

EFFECT: enabled simultaneous control of sterilisation temperature, degree of steam saturation dryness and preset period of sterilisation, higher strength of a working surface of the indicator, higher information value of the indicator, higher reliability of visual control of saturated steam sterilisation.
