FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for quantitative determination of content of metals and nonmetals (Al, Si, Sb, Ti, Fe, Sn, Mo, Ca, P) in synthetic rubber with additives of metal oxides, metal-containing rubber, organosilicon resins, lacquers and carbonised organometal compositions. Disclosed is a method of analysing organic materials through preliminary mineralisation of analysed samples in the presence of given reactants, conducting subsequent reaction of the analysed sample with an oxidant in a reactor fitted with a system for feeding gas medium and final determination of elementary composition via atomic absorption.

EFFECT: high reproducibility and accuracy of determining elementary composition of a sample by ensuring complete extraction of products of reaction of the analysed sample with peroxide reactants in an oxygen atmosphere; possibility of analysing complex heat-resistant elastic and liquid compositions in form of organoelement compounds and determining metals and nonmetals therein; possibility of successively feeding into the reactor a gaseous medium at the reaction step, and an aqueous medium in natural flow conditions at the end of the oxidation reaction with minimum loss of the determined components over time.
