METHOD FOR VEGETABLE OIL SAMPLE PREPARATION FOR DETERMINATION OF THEIR MICROELEMENT COMPOSITION BY SPECTRAL METHODS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N1/38

Abstract RU 2688840 C1

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical chemistry, specifically to vegetable oil sample preparation methods for subsequent determination of microelements in them by spectral methods, and can be used in product quality control, environmental monitoring and other fields of science and engineering. Substance of the method consists in the fact that the weight of the analysed sample is mixed with an organic solvent, which is used as highly pure acetone, the mixture is shaken until solution is obtained with its further direct input into the spectral device and analysis. Dilution of the sample takes place in a proportion sufficient to suppress the matrix effect on the analysis results in atomic spectrometry methods. Quantitative determination of elements is carried out based on pre-constructed calibration curves using calibration solutions prepared using highly pure acetone, in which additives of aqueous solutions of salts of elements with known concentrations in amount of not more than 3 % by volume are added.

EFFECT: stage of sample preparation simplification and acceleration, preventing losses of detected elements while maintaining low limits of their detection, which are typical for spectral analysis methods.
