SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to surgery, and can be applied in operations on thyroid gland caused by nodular, multinodular goiter and thyroid gland cancer. Essence of method lies in access to thyroid gland, mobilisation of thyroid gland lobes, extrafascial ablation of gland lobe or entire gland. Before mobilisation of thyroid gland lobes 1-2 ml of gliatilin and 1-2 ml of actovegin are introduced from the side of each lobe, stricktly on capsule from its external side, in extracapsular, paratracheal way.

EFFECT: application of claimed invention makes it possible to facilitate gland isolation and visualisation of recurrent nerve, reduce risk of injury to recurrent nerve and its branches, making said manipulations less traumatic.
