METHOD OF USING THROMBOCYTE-RICH AUTOPLASMA IN THYROIDECTOMY OR HEMISTRUMECTOMY, INVOLVING TREATING SURGICAL SITE WITH ANTISEPTIC SOLUTION, PERFORMING KOCHER APPROACH Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61B17/06 A61K35/19 A61P17/02

Abstract RU 2815759 C1

FIELD: medicine; surgery; endocrinology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for application of thrombocyte-rich autoplasma in thyroidectomy or hemistrumectomy. Surgical site is treated with an antiseptic solution; the skin is incised on the anterior surface of the neck; a Kocher approach is provided; a venous catheter is inserted. Further, venous blood is sampled into a sterile test tube in amount of 5 ml containing an olefin oligomer, then the test tube is centrifuged for 6 minutes at 3,200 rpm, blood is taken into a syringe, and platelet-rich autoplasma is injected from the wound into tissues in portions of 0.1 ml along the perimeter of the whole wound with drip irrigation of the recurrent laryngeal nerve bed in the wound, after that, the thyroid bed is treated, with the entire wound surface evenly coated with plasma, then cosmetic, intradermal sutures and a rubber graduate are placed on the skin.

EFFECT: method allows reducing the length of rehabilitation, reducing the risks of developing pathological scars, reducing the consequences of contact with the recurrent nerve, reducing the risks of developing impaired vocal function, due to a combination of techniques of the claimed invention.
