FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in welding electrodes for welding non-critical structures from mild steel. The electrode coating composition contains the following components in wt %: dolomite 53-55, fluorspar 15-17, quartz-feldspar material obtained from benefication wastes from Sadonsky Lead and Zinc Plant 9-11, ferrosilicium 6-8, ferromanganese 3-5, ferrotitanium 8-10, calcined soda 0.5-1. The quartz-feldspar material has the following composition in wt %: SiO2 56.30-65.50, Al2O3 9.30-11.70, TiO2 0.45-0.60, Fe2O3 8.85-14.30, CaO 2.21-2.80, MgO 0.95-1.28, K20 2.36-2.94, Na2O 0.15-0.17, SO3 0.18-0.36.
EFFECT: improved plastic properties of the electrode compound and low cost of the ready product.
