FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in manufacturing of electrodes for welding of pipeline joints and metal structure joints from carbon and low-alloyed steels. Coat of electrodes contains components in the following ratio, wt %: carbonates of alkali-earth metals 39-43, fluorspar 10-29, rutile 1-4.5, manganese ferrosilicon 6.6-7.0, ferrosilicon 3.0-5.0, aluminium 0.5-1.3, anhydrous aluminium silicate 11.0-19.0, soda 1.0-1.5, plasticisers 1.4-2.0, fluoroplastic 0.5-3.0, polishing powder of normal fused corundum 1.0-5.0 and superplasticiser of concretes with air suppression effect 0.14-0.18.
EFFECT: composition of coat of the main type of low-hydrogen electrodes provides for content of diffusion hydrogen in fused metal of at least 5 ml/100 g and mechanical properties by E50A type according to GOST 9467-75.
