FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to making diamond nozzles, particularly, to machining jet-forming channels for gaseous and hydroabrasive devices. Proposed method comprises fitting diamond discs with central bore into nozzle case to produce nozzle working part and jet-forming channel of required length. Thereafter, channel is subjected to machining. Microprofile is produced on machined surface made up of intersecting scores produced by processing said channel by coarse diamond micropowder. Then, channel surface is rubbed by rubbing paste containing nanodiamond powder, iron powder and those of aluminium-copper alloy or aluminium-nickel alloy at the following ratio of components, in wt %: nanodiamond powder 2.0-3.0, iron powder 10-13.0, powder of aluminium-copper alloy or aluminium-nickel alloy 85.0-88.0.
EFFECT: decreased labor input, higher wear resistance, higher jet speed and reduced jet power loss.
