FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, particularly, to devices intended for finishing ceramic articles by levelling. Proposed device comprises abrasive tool made up of endless belt directed around, at least, two pulleys, one of them being equipped with mechanical drive, and provided with one active and pone passive sections. Note here that said active section allows removing material from the article when said passive section is subjected to reconditioning of abrasive capacity. Note also that, additionally, proposed device comprises drive acting on belt to make it move in space surrounding article, fluid sprayer arranged nearby belt that may absorb sprayed fluid, and negative pressure source connected with belt passive section to remove absorbed fluid and process wastes.
EFFECT: higher quality, lower costs.
