SUBSTANCE: invention relates to strapping mechanisms and may be used for binding the articles by tape. Device to tension the tape relative to buckle coupled therewith comprises frame, tension roller, drive, bell crank, pressure roller and air cylinder. Drive revolves said tension roller. Pressure roller is fitted on bell crank first end. Air cylinder is coupled with bell crank second end. Tape end is clamped between tension roller and pressure roller. Said rollers are revolved for tape tensioning. Tension is decreased. Load is preserved and, then, released, by spring element. Cutting blade is displaced. Device sizes are decreased.
