FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to drive belt, an article and production method thereof. The drive belt has a basic part made from elastomeric material, stretched reinforcement lying in said basic part, and a part in contact with the pulley which is inseparable from said basic part. The elastomeric material contains a product of reacting a polyisocyanate prepolymer-based composition and a chain extender. The polyisocyanate prepolymer-based composition is obtained by reacting diisocyanate and polyol which essentially does not contain fragments which are oxidisable at below 150°C, and at least one triol cross-linking agent selected from the same group of polyols and a plasticiser. The plasticiser is selected from a group consisting of dialkyl esters of alkyl ethers, dialkyl esters of polyalkyl ethers and dialkyl esters of polyethylene glycol. The chain extender is based on aromatic symmetrical primary diamines, mixtures of said chain extenders based on aromatic primary diamines and chain extenders based on aromatic secondary diamines and mixtures of said chain extenders based on aromatic primary diamines and said polyols.
