FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: adhesive system contains albumen and one or more polymers belonging to a group consisting of polyvinyl amine, poly(vinyl alcohol-co-vinylamine), poly(vinyl acohol-co-vinyl formamide), polyallyl amine, polyethylene imine and polyvinyl formamide. The adhesive system further contains one or more polymers containing acetoacetylated polyvinyl alcohol. The adhesive system is used to glue parts of wood-based materials to form a wood-based product. To obtain a wood-based product, the adhesive system is applied onto one or more parts of wood-based material and the parts are joined with one or more other parts of the material. The parts of the wood-based material can be sheets or thin plates, wood chips or sawdust. The wood-based product is laminated material for floor boards, as well as a wood-chip board or a wood-fibre board or board made from sawdust.
EFFECT: use of the adhesive system for gluing wood provides high adhesion strength and high quality of the product.
