SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to woodworking, particularly, to production of composite wood products. Multiple substrates contact with binding composition and partial hardening of binding composition are made. One or several multifunctional aldehyde compounds may include two or more carbon atoms and two or more aldehyde functional groups, or two or more carbon atoms, at least one aldehyde functional group and at least one functional group, which represents an aldehyde functional group. Carbon atom of at least one aldehyde functional group has first communication with first tannin molecule and second connection, which is formed by first tannin molecule, second tannin molecule or oxygen atom of at least one aldehyde functional groups.
EFFECT: reduced emission of formaldehyde.
