FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises feeding moist granulated carbon black into drying drum equipped with outer chamber with its outer surface heated by high-temperature smoke fumes generated in fuel combustion, said fumes including off gas of carbon gas formation to be fed inside said drum. In compliance with this invention, extra airflow is fed into smokes fumes before its contact with granulated carbon black.
EFFECT: high efficiency highly intensified process, reduced consumption of natural gas.
