FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method of automatic control of burning process in a thermal unit comprising for all loads by means of fuel and air flow rate sensors, gas analysers for measurement of concentration of nitrogen and carbon oxides in the combustion gases discharged into atmosphere, determination of total allowable conditional toxicity of emissions, determination of difference of exceeding of conditional toxicity of emissions over its allowable standard value and use of this difference as a reference signal. In the present method using the additional device upstream the fire chamber ozone is added into water, using the additional gas analyser ozone concentration in water is measured upstream the fire chamber, using the additional sensor the temperature in the zone of active burning is measured, using the additional gas analyser the oxygen concentration is measured in the zone of active burning, using the additional gas analyser methane concentration is measured downstream the fire chamber. Total allowable conditional toxicity of emissions is determined in view taking into account influence of the named parameters.
EFFECT: improvement of accuracy of measurements, shortening time of measurement The invention allows to decrease total toxicity of the polluting substances discharged into atmosphere in the exhaust combustion gases.
