SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. The sweetener composition contains a rebaudioside A composition and polyol. Rebaudioside A has purity higher 95% in terms of dry substance weight. Rebaudioside A includes a water-free polymorph of rebaudioside A, a solvate polymorph of rebaudioside A, amorphous rebaudioside A or their combinations. The weight ratio of rebaudioside A to polyol is 1:4 - 1:800. Additionally proposed are sweetened compositions produced based on the sweetener composition and methods for imparting a more sugar-like temporal profile, a more sugar-like taste profile or the both profiles to the composition being sweetened.
EFFECT: inventions group allows to produce a non-caloric intensive sweetener ensuring a sugary temporal and taste profile, the sweetener may be used during various beverages production.
