SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to ophthalmology and is intended for increase of efficiency of surgical treatment of open-angle glaucoma. In upper segment L-shaped cut of conjunctiva id made, L-shaped flap is formed, at which proximal wound edge and distal flap edge are concentric to limbus, and lateral wound edge and medial flap edge are radial to it; U-shaped suture is applied near angle of conjunctival wound by bringing ligature through puncture-in in distal edge of flap, near its angle, puncture-out is performed in proximal wound edge, puncture-in in its lateral edge, puncture-out in medial edge of scleral flap. Suture is formed and tightened with pulling distal edge of flap under proximal edge of conjunctival wound, and medial edge of flap under lateral edge of wound. Suture is tied up under wound angle.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to ensure high degree of conjunctival wound hermetisation due to application of eversible U-shaped suture and its duplication by with conjunctiva which results in elimination of irritation of epithelial covering of conjunctiva during upper eyelid movement.
