FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: 1mm L-conjunctival section is started from a normal line to a limb at 11 o'clock and extended along the limb for 2-3 mm. A surgical area above the conjunctiva is released by temporary displacement of the conjunctiva. After the conjunctiva and the Tenon's space are separated, episcleral vessels are coagulated with using an ultrasonic coagulator. A superficial scleral flap 3x3 mm is formed via transparent corneal layers, excised by S of its length, and repositioned. A viscoelastic 0.1 ml is administered into the intrascleral cavity. The conjunctiva is flooded around the surgical area with normal saline by means of a cannula. The surgery is completed by sealing the conjunctival section with one interrupted suture.
EFFECT: method enables reducing a proliferation within the surgical area, providing a long antihypertensive effect.
