FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of coats on, for example, absorbent articles, sanitary towels, nappies, and the like. Proposed method is implemented exploiting interfacial contact. Proposed device comprises casing and component displacing there inside. Said case has outer surface and outlet. Component has outer surface and pocket to receive fluid. Outer surface comprises, at least, one recess communicated with said pocket to allow fluid to be fed from said pocket into recess. With component displacing inside the case, at least one recess passes by outlet to apply fluid on warp displacing by said outlet with interfacial contact with case inner surface, said fluid being shaped to recess shape. Sanitary towel comprises, at least, one layer whereon glue is applied by slit-pattern application process. Glue layer is applied on warp in compliance with glue application pattern. Said glue application pattern is distinguished for direction of slit application of coat and comprises, at least, one continuous glue paste. Said glue paste features boundary. Boundary linear section is nonparallel with direction of slit application.

EFFECT: higher efficiency.
