FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship, namely, to push-pull steering mechanisms. Proposed device comprise water duct, propeller, nozzle and push-pull steering device. The latter is arranged downstream of nozzle and made up of rotary flaps. The later are interconnected and controlled by drive ties. Drive allows flap turning and closing for reversing and opening for free flow of jet stream in ship forward motion. Said flaps are mounted at nozzle outlet to allow ejection. Closed flaps form conical surface.
EFFECT: higher efficiency in forward and reverse motion and maneuvering.
