FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: proposed complex has water duct, impeller with hub fairing secured to water duct by means of profiled struts, nozzle at slotted exit section and reversible steering gear provided with bound plate and swivel deflector located behind nozzle exit section. Nozzle is provided with two passages having slotted form in exit section in form of segment of circle. Walls of passages are formed by parts of water duct surface laid behind impeller and walls of two vertical profiled struts of impeller hub fairing. Center line of section and shape of surface of each of them is so bent that surface of profiled struts at exit section of nozzle is perpendicular to plane of nozzle exit section and center line of struts at their inlet section is inclined relative to water duct cross sectional plane opposite to direction of impeller rotation at angle of α<80°. Reversible steering gear is additionally provided with swivel deflector and bound plate. Both bound plates are located vertically behind nozzle exit section; they are elongation of walls of hub fairing profiled struts along the flow. Swivel deflectors are located between bound plates; axes of rotation of deflectors are parallel. Propulsor is provided with two astern running passages for change of direction of jet discharge at reversing; inlet sections of these passages are communicated with cavity of respective swivel deflector in reverse position and their outlet sections are mainly oriented opposite to external flow.
EFFECT: simplified construction.
