FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: water-jet propeller reverse control device includes two vertical synchronous rudders arranged behind nozzle. Rudders are arranged on lateral edges of shell of nozzle and are equipped with flaps. In lower ends of rudders and flap there are inclined hydrodynamic washers on side of centre plane of jet propeller. On lower part of nozzle there is a shield installed in form of continuation of nozzle in stern. Rudders are fixed in upper part with help of spindles to box-like frame, which serves as upper arch reversing steering device. In lower part rudders are secured to nozzle by means of eyebolts. Rudders with flaps can deviate from control system synchronously to left and right or to opposite sides. Box-like frame is fixed on upper part of nozzle by means of elbows, which are nasal wall reversing steering device.
EFFECT: simplified design and higher reliability of reversing steering device, higher efficiency and convenience of ship control.
