FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises casting, hot rolling, hot-rolled strip thermal processing, etching, cold rolling and cold-rolled strip thermal processing. Steel casing is conducted subject to the following ratio 0.41%<Al+Sb<1.76%, at the following ratio of components, wt %: carbon - not over 0.010, silicon - 2.15-3.20, aluminium - 0.40-1.60, stibium - 0.01-0.16, manganese - not over 0.40, phosphorus - not over 0.10, sulfur - not over 0.010, nitrogen - not over 0.006, iron and unavoidable impurities making the rest. Strip resulted from hot rolling is subjected to thermal processing consisting in normalisation of its temperature at the following conditions: TS>AC3 at (Si+Al)<3.30, wt % and TS<AC3 at (Si+Al)>3.30, wt % where: TS is thermal processing temperature, °C; AC3 is temperature of phase conversion of ferrite in austenite, 911°C; Si is silicon content in steel, wt %; Al is aluminium content in steel, wt %. Sb is stibium content in steel, wt %.
EFFECT: better magnetic properties.
