FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: chip detector has a plug-signalling device and a valve which is built into the housing of the assembly and provides the working medium of the assembly access to the working face of the plug-signalling device. The plug-signalling device has a housing 1, a permanent magnet 2, an insulator 3 and an external contact 4 made from magnetic material, and wires 5 and 6 which connect the external contact and the permanent magnet to contacts of a plug connector 7. The valve has a housing 8 and a plate 9 which is spring-loaded relative the base 10 of the housing and interacts with the working face of the permanent magnet 2 of the plug-signalling device, wherein the plate 9 of the valve on the side which interacts with the face of the permanent magnet is provided with an insulating element 12. The housing of the plug-signalling device is fixed relative the housing 8 of the valve by a retaining pin 14 in the pulled position of the spring 11 of the plate 9, where through a window 17 in the housing 8 of the valve, the working medium is provided access to the working face of the plug-signalling device.
