FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment, in particular to means for measuring slot width and its symmetry relative to external spherical surface. Device comprises a base, a base element with a conical hole, two indicators with probes, a measuring head with a measuring tip, a stand with a bracket, a clamp, main plate with inclined face and side working surface and additional plate with inclined plane and with narrow and wide side surfaces. Main and additional plates have the same width and can be placed in the groove of the measurement object. Probes are located at the specified overhang from the axis of the conical hole with provision of their symmetry relative to the axis of the above hole, as well as with the possibility of interaction with the side working surface at points on its ends. Measuring tip is located perpendicular to the axis of the conical hole with an overhang equal to the protrusions of the probes, and with the possibility of interacting with the narrow side surface of the additional plate.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of the device due to exclusion of the measurement object resetting and repeated adjustment of its position in the centring unit.
