FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: during adjustment of longitudinal axes of mounting frame for inertial navigation system and object in the operation determining the direction of longitudinal axis of mounting frame there fixed is working reflector on the device simulating the installation places of housing of inertial navigation system, and in operation of preliminary measurement of non-adjustment angle of working reflector the device is placed on theodolite holder; calibration reflector is installed on bracket in two positions on mating face of the device; directions of inlet normal to mating face of the device plane and to working reflector is found by means of two theodolites, and on the basis of readouts obtained from the theodolites there determined by means of analytic expression is correction coefficient for non-adjustment angle of working reflector.

EFFECT: improving adjustment accuracy of longitudinal axes of onboard instrument and object.
