FIELD: optical instrument engineering. SUBSTANCE: telescope of microscopic theodolite has periscopic projection system, which connects focal plane of its objective with focal plane of eye-piece. Optical elements of projection system are mounted onto its case, in hollow vertical axes, base and vertical post of alidade, in hollow horizontal axis onto eye-piece part of main telescope. The last focal plane of periscopic projection system is disposed in parallel to focal plane of main telescope or brought into coincidence with the latter. EFFECT: improved efficiency. 7 cl, 2 dwg
