ELECTRIC POWER DISTRIBUTION METHOD OF COMMON BASIC SHIP ELECTRIC POWER SYSTEM, AND SYSTEM USED FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC H02J3/00 H02J4/00

Abstract RU 2460191 C2

FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to method and system of electric power distribution of common basic ship electric power system (CBS EPS). Electric power of one type is generated, some part of generated electric power is converted to one of the consumed electric power types; some part of converted electric power is converted to another type of consumed power; conversion of converted power is repeated in series for so many times as it is required to provide the power to all formed networks of receivers; electric power is distributed between receivers; electric power is converted for each adjustable receiver in compliance with its operation algorithm. System includes main switchboard of electric power source (EPS MS), main switchboards of electric power receiver networks (RN MS), common electric power source (CEPS), reversible electric power converters (RC), and receiver control units (RCU). CEPS outlet is connected to EPS MS electric power inlet, the outlet of which is connected to RN MS inlet. Outlet of network RN MS is connected through RC and corresponding connections to RN MS of the neighbouring network and so on to the last network n with its RN MS. RN MS is connected through RC of network n to ring by means of the corresponding connection with the first RN MS of the network. Each of network RN MS is connected by means of outlet directly to non-adjustable electric power receivers. RN MS is connected to adjustable receivers through RCU receiver control units. Network RN MS are connected by means of outlets to other CBS EPS of the ship.

EFFECT: improved reliability of electrical power system.
