FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: use in the field of electric power engineering. In the ship alternating voltage electric power system (EPS) with two different frequencies turbo-generators two power networks are contained, in one of which as the high-voltage and increased frequency electric power source the synchronous type main turbo-generators (TG) are used, and in another is the asynchronous type TG with phase rotor as the industrial frequency low-voltage power source. Wherein to the asynchronous type TG phase rotor three-phase winding circuit the reversible frequency converter is connected. Both TGs are placed in pairs on the common shaft with the driving turbine without intermediate reduction gear and rotate at increased speed of ω1=628 rad/s (6,000 rpm). Generated by both TGs electric power is distributed by means of two AC mains, one of which is a high voltage (up to ~10.5 kV) and increased frequency of 100 or 200 Hz is designed to power the electromotive system, and the other of low voltage (~0.4 kV) and industrial frequency of 50 Hz is designed to power the general ship consumers.

EFFECT: technical result is significant reduction in compared to the prototype calculated total power, consequently, in the converting devices weight mass and dimensions in the industrial frequency low voltage network, as well as the improvement of the electric power quality parameters in the said electric network, including by the high-order harmonic components.
