SUBSTANCE: working element of a smoothing machine comprises a shaft, a frame, two rolls. Smoothening rolls have a barrel-like shape and are capable of rotating in a plane arranged at the angle to the axis of rotation of the working element itself.
EFFECT: production of wavy macrorelief of a processed surface with a specified pitch and a slant angle.
