FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves reaction of aluminium, hydrogen, olefin and recirculating aluminium alkyl in an organic solvent at high temperature and pressure, followed by purification of the aluminium alkyl solution from finely dispersed solid impurities by filtration. Before filtration, the aluminium alkyl solution is further settled for 4-15 hours at temperature 10-30°C and at content of aluminium alkyl in the starting solution of 40-70 wt %.
EFFECT: invention reduces consumption of aluminium and olefin during synthesis of aluminium alkyl and enables to obtain a product which does not contain solid impurities.
