FIELD: petrochemical industry. SUBSTANCE: well known is method of producing polybutadiene by polymerization of butadiene-1,3 as monomer in aromatic (toluene, benzene or the like) or aliphatic (hexane, butylenes or the like), solvents in the presence of Ziegler-Natt catalyst based on mixed titanium halide and triisobutyl aluminium. The prior art technology is disadvantageous in that it uses aluminium triisobutyl ATIB as catalytic system component, since the main isobutylene stock component is rather expensive. Besides, ATIB is fire hazardous product. The claimed method makes it possible to reduce manufacturing cost of rubber by replacing partially or completely expensive isobutylene in synthesis of aluminium trialkyl to obtain butadiene or other readily accessible and cheap alpha- olefins (alpha-butylene, hexene-1- up to C30-ene)or dienes (butadiene, isoprene or the like). The resulting mixed aluminium trialkyl is not inferior to triisobutyl aluminium in catalytic activity during preparation of polybutadiene, and its fire hazard is reduced significantly.
