FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: steel containing carbon, manganese, silicone, chrome, nickel, molybdenum, aluminium, niobium, vanadium, copper, tungsten, iron and impurities of sulphur and phosphorus at the following component ratio, wt %: carbon 0.32 -0.38, manganese 0.10-0.50, silicone 0.17 - 0.40, chrome 1.5 - 2.0, nickel 0.90 -1.30, molybdenum 0.25 - 0.35, vanadium 0.08 - 0.15, aluminium 0.02 - 0.04, niobium 0.01 - 0.05, copper 0.10 - 0.20, tungsten 0.01 - 0.05, sulphur 0.005 - 0.010, phosphorus 0.010 - 0.015, iron is the rest, with further pouring so that cast sections are obtained. Cast sections are heated to hot deformation temperature and subject to hot forging at temperature of 1150 - 800°C, isothermic annealing at temperature of 630 - 670°C, cooling with furnace and repeated heating to temperature of 1150±20°C in furnace with gaseous nitrogen. Rolling with total swaging of not less than 78% is performed so that plates are obtained, which are cooled and subject to hardening, tempering and additional tempering. Tempering and additional tempering is performed at temperature of 190±10°C with air cooling.
EFFECT: steel plates have high antibullet stability in combination with reduced tendency to formation of secondary fragments, improved characteristics of strength and hardness at sufficient plasticity and viscosity.
