SUBSTANCE: data processing device has a correction circuit (30). The correction circuit (30) acquires first pixel data with display of a first colour component and second pixel data driven by the scan signal line which drives the first pixel, and a data signal line adjacent to the first pixel, with display of a second colour component. The correction circuit (30) corrects the second pixel data in accordance with a relationship between a value of the first pixel data and a value of the second pixel data.
EFFECT: preventing display irregularities even in case of a uniform bitmap image with a defined colour component.
