SUBSTANCE: display device has a memory capacitor bus which is controlled by corresponding control signals, having a given number of phases which form pairs consisting of two opposite phases and shifted from each other. The device also has a correcting means for writing a first data signal into a first pixel during a special line-scanning period; carrying out first correction of the gray scale with respect to display data (R, G and B), which correspond to the first data signal to be written into the first pixel during said special line-scanning period, and transmitting display data to the display former.

EFFECT: longer service life of the display without appearance of a stripped image and flicker effect.
