SUBSTANCE: liquid crystal panel has a color filter of three colors R, G, and В, the backlighting comprises the four color light-emitting diodes, their brightness is regulated separately; the backlighting data processing unit divides the output signal of the correction component of the chroma signal into a plenty of segments and computes the value of the light-emitting diodes lightness correspondent to each of the segments on the basis of the gradation in each segment and receives the backlight info of four or more colors which are to be applied to operate the backlighting; the video data processing unit executes the correction of the chroma level of the output signal of the chroma signal correction component referring to the backlighting data and receives the video data of three colors which are to be used to operate the liquid crystal panel.
EFFECT: prevention of the color cross-coupling, provision of high definition images.
